Timber-framed Town-house with Window Shop

£20.00

This 28mm three-storey town-house has a ground floor of brick, timber-framed upper floors and a tiled roof with a stove-type chimney.

A simple lean-to table can be put against a wall so that the occupants of the house can sell simple wares (perhaps surplus foodstuffs) to passers-by from an open ground-floor window.

Description

This 28mm model has been designed both for ease of assembly and for ease of storage.

For storage, the chimney can be easily removed and replaced.

For texturing and painting, the model has been designed so that the joins (the tabs and the slots) are either hidden or match the brickwork. The only real place that may need a filler is where the greyboard timber-frame pieces join at the corners. This is because the actual corner uprights would have been a single timber post. The greyboard timber frames are deliberately thick to ease adding your own ‘wattle and daub’.
