UK 2p Coins
Since 1992, UK two pence coins have been minted with a mild steel core and electroplated with copper – consequently they are magnetic. These are 2.03mm thick. This means the coins in the slots are a slither of a mere 0.1mm below the top of a 2mm-thick sabot base.
