These Sabot Bases come with a 2mm-thick MDF topper and a purposefully thin card underlay.
Artillery Sabot Base with 5 Slots
These sabots are designed for artillery guns and their crews but are useful for other troop types and vehicles. They come with some slots ‘plugged’ to reduce the number of slots as required – for example, for a wagon with a walking driver. The slot fillers are fillers and NOT sized as bases for the sabots.
20mm/UK Penny Sabot Bases measure 80mm x 80mm.
25mm/UK2p Sabot Bases measure 100mm x 100mm.
For larger artillery sabots, think of using Warband Sabot Bases and filling in some slots.

UK 2p Coins
Since 1992, UK two pence coins have been minted with a mild steel core and electroplated with copper – consequently they are magnetic. These are 2.03mm thick. This means the coins in the slots are a slither of a mere 0.1mm below the top of a 2mm-thick sabot base.
